Rafaèl, the wine of the Tommasi family’s first historic vineyard

Rafaèl lies in the heart of Valpolicella Classica at San Pietro in Cariano, on a hill beside Monte Masua. Giacomo Tommasi planted the first family vines there and built the family home.

The site has been dedicated to Valpolicella Superiore from its earliest period. Its traditional blend combines Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara, with the proportions adjusted slightly to the conditions of each vintage. The vineyard remains a central expression of the family’s connection to Valpolicella.
