About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Chardonnay is grown at the Masseria Maime vineyard in Upper Salento, near the town of San Pietro Vernotico in the province of Brindisi, on the Adriatic coast.

Vinification

The grapes are picked at optimal ripeness and gently pressed. The must is chilled at 10 °C for a day to clarify naturally. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 16 °C, which helps the grape's characteristic aromas develop.

Ageing

The wine is aged in steel tanks to preserve freshness and give a smooth texture.

Tasting profile

Fresh yet full-flavoured, with bright acidity, inviting fruit aromas and a smooth, pleasant texture. The style is well balanced.

Serving and pairing

Serve chilled. It pairs with dishes such as shrimp in a creamy sauce, and the 2025 vintage also works as an aperitif.
