After concern about frost and hail, the family judged the 2019 crop healthy and well ripened. Castelnuovo was harvested in September; the Montalcino vineyards were left several days longer, with late day-to-night temperature variation supporting the final phase of ripening.

Maurizio waited in the cellar to receive the grapes and make the final decisions. Renata, Elisa and new team member Valentina cut fruit in the vineyard, while grandmother Renata supervised with the experience of many previous harvests. The family presented this collaboration as the essence of its philosophy: new generations advance with the guidance and correction of those before them.
