Amorim cork certificate for reduced CO₂ impact

The carbon balance covers Amorim cork closures purchased and used by Travaglini from 1 January through 31 December 2023. The underlying assessment was commissioned by Corticeira Amorim from the independent certification organisations PricewaterhouseCoopers and EY and considered the cork’s full life cycle, from the forest to arrival at the cellar. The calculation attributed up to 60.8 tonnes of CO₂ sequestration to Travaglini’s cork purchases and use during the twelve-month period.
