Vineyard and terroir
Virgilio Bisti personally oversaw the planting of an organic Syrah vineyard, monitoring it to understand how the variety would adapt to the terroir and waiting until the fruit was ready to produce a wine of its own.
Ageing
The wine ages for 18 months in barriques.
Label / history
The name originated when Virgilio Bisti, asked which of his wines he preferred, replied, “La Syrah, per sempre” (“Syrah, forever”). The wine has since been known as Syrah “Per Sempre.” It is made in limited quantities and is dedicated to Virgilio, the company’s founder, and to those who work at the estate.
