Harvest 2025

The 2025 harvest celebrated 30 years since the first Ronco delle Mele vintage. The project originated in the study of Cerò hill and the 1984 decision to plant Sauvignon on its north-western exposure. The first wine followed in 1995. Apple trees planted by Daniele remain along the slopes and headlands, preserving evidence of the former mixed-farming system in which fruit trees helped support vineyard rows.

Picking began on 19 August with Pinot Grigio at Ruttars, the estate’s consistently earliest-ripening site. Sugar, acidity and pH analyses showed an excellent degree of ripeness after late-June heat was followed by a balanced July with seasonal temperatures, regular rainfall and no extreme events.
