Venica & Venica awarded the Distinctive Award of Excellence for Italian Entrepreneurship

On 19 September 2025 in Gorizia, the Venica family received the Distinctive Award of Excellence for Italian Entrepreneurship in the sustainable-viticulture category. The award recognized sustained care for the environment, biodiversity and community, together with a production philosophy combining tradition, innovation, scientific rigour and sensitivity to the land.

The XII International Award of Excellence “Città del Galateo – Antonio De Ferraris” brought together participants from art, literature, enterprise and civil society around beauty, ethics and responsibility. Ornella accepted the award and described the family as the founding value of the enterprise. She credited Gianni’s winemaking leadership, delegation and ability to make the team collectively responsible for the territory.

The family dedicated the distinction to the local community and to everyone working with it in the vineyards.
