About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Primitivo grapes grow in Vespa’s vineyards on clay soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at the end of September at optimal ripeness. They undergo 10 days of maceration, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine ages for six months in French oak barrels.
