About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the estate’s coolest biodynamic vineyards.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed. The must undergoes low-temperature maceration in contact with the lees before pressing and settling, followed by fermentation with selected yeasts.
Ageing
The wine matures in stainless-steel tanks and is bottled in the winter of the following year.
Tasting profile
Generous fruit and floral aromas lead to a refreshing, full-flavoured palate.
Label / history
Count Sebastiano Capponi created the wine. Its name, “Comitale,” means “the Count’s wine” in Italian.
