About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The wine is produced by Villa Marcello in Fontanelle, in the province of Treviso. The vines grow in silty-clay soil, with 3,000–5,000 plants per hectare, and are trained using the Sylvoz system. Harvest takes place during the first ten days of September.

Grapes

85% Glera and 15% Pinot Bianco.

Vinification

Fermentation proceeds at controlled temperature with selected yeasts. The second fermentation follows the Metodo Italiano.

Ageing

The wine remains on selected yeasts for more than 60 days at controlled temperature.

Technical data

Treviso DOC. Alcohol: 11% vol. Available formats: 750 ml and 1.5 L. Contains sulphites.

Tasting profile

Bright straw yellow. The aroma combines varietal notes of apple and pear with floral nuances. The palate is full-bodied and fresh, with fine perlage and a notably delicate character.
