About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from plots planted between 1991 and 1997 and is picked at peak ripeness.

Vinification

The two varieties are fermented separately.

Ageing

The wine rests for at least six months in second-use barriques.

Tasting profile

Cingalino is easy-drinking, with the complexity and roundness associated with French varieties and the flavour and freshness of traditional Tuscan wine.

Label / history

The name refers to the amusing, fashionably dressed little wild boar depicted holding a bunch of grapes on the label. The wild boar is a symbol of Tuscany, whose forests support abundant wildlife and where winegrowing has flourished for centuries.
