Ficulle … Man and the Biosphere

The territories of Ficulle, Orvieto, Parrano and San Venanzo entered UNESCO’s Man and the Biosphere programme. MAB combines natural and social sciences to support sustainable resource use, conservation and stronger relationships between people and the environment. Its aims include tracking biosphere change, studying links between ecosystems and socio-economic processes, safeguarding human welfare and liveable environments, sharing solutions and strengthening education for sustainable development.
