Projectus Viticultura

Projectus Viticultura makes ecosystem relationships the basis of a new agricultural idea: wine reflects living land. Organic conversion was paired with the recovery of vegetable biodiversity and landscape character. The plan envisaged an estate composed of gardens to visit and eat: old fruit trees, vegetables for the restaurant, aromatic and medicinal plants, and a married-vine garden intended for natural wine in earthenware jars after an Etruscan model. Sustainable management began in the surrounding woods, along with zoning of the most valuable truffle areas. The programme excluded insecticides, herbicides, synthetic fertilisers, antibotrytis products and fungicides because of their effect on soil resources and biological vitality.
