About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie at 200 metres above sea level in the Mazara del Vallo area of Sicily. The vines are five years old on average.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in the first half of September at ripeness and sorted before undergoing 10–15 days of skin maceration.
Ageing
The wine matures on its fine lees in stainless-steel tanks for more than 10 months, followed by a further three months in bottle.
Tasting profile
The wine has a distinctive, enjoyable taste and an elegant aroma.
