Spring arrives in the vineyards of Viticcio

The first buds opened after winter dormancy, bringing green growth back to the rows and beginning a new vegetative cycle. Longer days and milder temperatures increased the pace of work, while the growers closely monitored the vines and guided new shoots with restrained interventions intended to preserve vineyard balance.

Across Chianti Classico and Maremma, the new leaves represented the first visible promise of the future harvest. The season emphasised the estate’s view that wine begins with the land, seasonal rhythms and the patience of those tending the vines.
