Vineyard and terroir
The selected fruit comes from the company’s vineyards in Veneto, situated at 250–500 metres above sea level. The soils are clay and sand, and planting density is 3,000–4,000 vines per hectare. Yields do not exceed 180 quintals per hectare.
Grapes
The wine is made from a selection of Glera grapes.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested from September to October as they reach optimal ripeness. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature. The base wine undergoes secondary fermentation in pressurised stainless-steel tanks using the Charmat method.
