First produced in 1990. For 2023, grapes were sorted twice — before and after destemming — with each vineyard parcel fermented separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel for 18-25 days, completing malolactic fermentation in barriques by year-end, then aged in new French oak barriques until bottling in July 2025. The 2023 vintage is intense ruby red with plum, blackberry and blackcurrant notes meeting tobacco and licorice root, closing with light mint and blood orange; the palate has a dense, mouth-filling tannic texture with excellent aging potential.
