The grapes are grown in southern Piemonte around the town of Verduno.
Grapes
The wine is based on the rare native Pelaverga Piccolo grape and may contain a small proportion of other red varieties permitted in the province of Cuneo.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes undergo traditional vinification at a controlled temperature.
