Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the best sites of the Rosso Conero zone, on the 43rd parallel. Warm sunshine and the nearby sea allow Montepulciano to show its full potential.
Vinification
The harvest date is chosen on sugar levels, phenolic ripeness, total acidity and pH. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures for 10–12 months in barriques and Slavonian oak casks, then rests further in bottle.
