Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in selected vineyards in Veneto. The region has a mild climate: the mountains protect its cold but relatively moderate winters from strong winds, while cooling sea breezes temper the hot summers. Ample summer rainfall provides moisture during ripening. The soils are mainly marl and sandstone, limestone and clay, contributing a saline, mineral character.
Vinification
The bunches are selected and harvested when analysis indicates a suitable balance between sugar and acidity. They are destemmed and gently pressed. The product contains at least 70% grape must, which is held at low temperature in dedicated tanks to prevent alcoholic fermentation. Carbon dioxide is then added under controlled conditions before filtration and bottling.

Fresh and lively, with fine bubbles and a pleasantly saline, mineral character.
