Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the final days of September. Traditional red-wine vinification includes alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks, followed by stabilization in steel.
Ageing
The wine is aged in steel tanks.
Vintage notes
In 2021, the growing season began slightly earlier than usual, bringing the harvest forward by about one week. Very hot summer days were interrupted by two welcome periods of rain, one in July and another in August. Otherwise relatively dry conditions helped to keep the grapes healthy, and the harvest was generous and high in quality.
