Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown in Puglia. It is allowed additional time to ripen and develop the required sugar levels, then left on the vines to dry in the sun, losing some weight and moisture.
Vinification
After drying on the vines, the grapes are harvested and pressed. The resulting must undergoes a long fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures in oak barrels, including some new oak.
Tasting profile
Elegant, rounded and generous, with a rich, complex aroma.
Serving and pairing
Pairs with red meat, veal and lamb.
