Vineyard and terroir
Langhe Rosso is produced within an estate whose wines are made exclusively from estate-grown grapes. The historical description identifies vineyards in Barolo, Monforte, Novello and Alba but does not assign a specific parcel or commune to this wine.
Vinification
Primary fermentation at the estate is conducted in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. A second cellar is used for malolactic fermentation and other operations. These are general cellar practices; no wine-specific fermentation or maceration protocol is given for Langhe Rosso.
Ageing
The original vaulted, exposed-brick cellar is reserved for maturation in oak. Bottle ageing takes place underground, where temperature and humidity remain naturally suitable and stable. The description does not specify whether Langhe Rosso undergoes either stage or state its maturation period.
Label / history
The Brezza family owned vineyards in Barolo by 1885, and Giacomo Brezza and his father Antonio bottled the estate's first wine around 1910. Langhe Rosso appears among the estate wines in the historical account.
