Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The Nero d’Avola fruit comes from the Feudi del Pisciotto vineyards in Sicily. The winery lies 7 km from the sea, between Caltagirone and Piazza Armerina.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in the last week of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks to retain their fresh, intense aromas, with partial malolactic fermentation. Secondary fermentation follows using the Charmat method, producing fine, persistent bubbles.
Tasting profile
Harmonious, delicate and fresh, with intense aromas and a distinctly Sicilian character. The bubbles are fine and persistent.
Label / history
Feudi del Pisciotto’s wine labels were created by Italian designers.
