The fruit comes from estate vines. The wider vineyard land associated with Leonardo was seabed four million years ago, and ancient fossils are still found between the vine rows.

Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine matures in new oak barrels for 12–18 months.
