Vineyard and terroir
The Montepulciano and Sangiovese are grown on a hill in Ascoli Piceno.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in the second half of October, carefully sorted and cold-macerated. Vinification follows the classic red-wine method.
Ageing
The wine matures for one year in oak barrels, followed by six months in bottle.
Tasting profile
An elegant blend, combining Montepulciano’s soft fruit character with Sangiovese’s more distinctive earthy and woody notes.
