2024 Vintage

The 2024 season began with a mild winter, followed by sharp spring fluctuations: early-April warmth gave way to nearly winter-like temperatures and late frost in northeastern valley-floor vineyards. July was wet in northern Italy, increasing vegetative growth and disease pressure, while August temperatures rose above average and advanced ripening.

At Conti Bossi Fedrigotti, grapes for the Conte Federico Trento DOC sparkling-wine base were harvested in mid-August. The cold period at the end of April reduced quantities, though quality was unaffected. Pinot Grigio for Pian del Griso and Chardonnay for Vign’Asmara were being picked in late August. Teroldego and Marzemino for Fojaneghe and Mas’Est were scheduled for harvest from early September.
