The 2025 Harvest
The 2025 season combined high June temperatures, including peaks above 37°C, with severe July thunderstorms and localized hail in parts of northeastern Italy. Careful agronomic management limited the overall effect on grape quality.
At Conti Bossi Fedrigotti in Rovereto, picking began in mid-August with the grapes destined for Conte Federico Trento DOC. The estate recorded excellent yield and quality for this material. Pinot Grigio for Pian del Griso and Chardonnay for Vign’Asmara were being harvested by early September, while the red-grape harvest—including Teroldego and Marzemino for Fojaneghe and the Mas’Est wines—was due to begin within days.
