The 250th Harvest Gets Underway

The 2022 harvest started around ten days earlier than the preceding year across the group’s northern Italian properties. At the Conti Bossi Fedrigotti estates in Rovereto, work began in the week following the August holiday with Pinot Nero and Chardonnay for Conte Federico Trento DOC Riserva Brut.

Chardonnay for Vign’Asmara and Pinot Grigio followed, with the red-grape harvest expected shortly afterward. The combination of local soils and climatic conditions produced healthy grapes with good acidity.
