Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the Ficuzza estate near Palermo, where the high-altitude vineyards in the Albanesi area face northeast at approximately 700 m above sea level. The local Sicilian climate allows the grapes to ripen fully while retaining freshness, balanced flavours, and bright, complex aromas. The fruit is carefully selected.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in the first half of September and destemmed. They undergo one day of cold maceration to preserve varietal aromas and freshness, followed by alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures on its fine lees in stainless-steel tanks for six months.
