Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from southeast- and southwest-facing vineyards at 350–650 m above sea level. The soils combine limestone, clay or loam, and sand. Mediterranean warmth during the day is tempered by cool air from the surrounding mountains, supporting freshness and tension.

Grapes

100% Müller Thurgau.

Vinification

After harvest, the grapes are carefully crushed and pressed. The fresh must undergoes static clarification at low temperature, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless-steel tanks at 18°C.

Ageing

Several months on the fine lees in stainless-steel tanks.

Technical data

Vintage 2025. Alcohol: 12.50% vol. Total acidity: 6.2 g/L. Residual sugar: 1.1 g/L. Available in 0.75 L bottles. The grapes are entirely hand-picked. Ageing potential is 3–4 years.

Tasting profile

Light straw yellow. The restrained aromatic profile combines herbs and nutmeg with delicate apricot notes. The palate shows enjoyable freshness, youthful acidity and a fine-boned structure.

Serving and pairing

Serve well chilled at 10°C. Suitable as an aperitif and with seafood or flavoursome first courses.

Vintage notes

The 2025 harvest began on 27 August and finished just over a month later. Relatively early flowering was followed by a warm, dry June. A notably cooler July helped retain natural freshness and acidity, and August brought favourable ripening conditions. September alternated between sunshine and occasional rainfall toward the end of harvest; the grapes reached the cellar healthy and balanced.
