The grapes are harvested and selected entirely by hand.
Ageing
The wine matures for 14–18 months in oak barriques, followed by 8–10 months in bottle.
Label / history
Domenico Poggiali purchased the vineyard in the second half of the 20th century. He retained many traditional elements while introducing significant changes to the estate’s methods and equipment.
Maestro Raro takes its name from a wise character in a work by Robert Schumann, to whom the other characters turn for advice.
