Vineyard and terroir
The Syrah is grown on volcanic hills south of Rome, while the Cesanese comes from selected vineyard sites in Lazio.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in late September and vinified for 10–12 days.
Ageing
The young wine rests for four months, with 25% aged in barriques and the remainder in stainless-steel tanks.
