Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie near Civitanova Marche at about 150 metres above sea level, on plots facing northeast. Ventilation from the Adriatic Sea helps the grapes ripen slowly and evenly while keeping their acidity and aromatic brightness. Differences between day and night temperatures keep the aromas expressive and fresh. The soils are of medium density and well drained, and give a light saline note and mineral character. The vines are grown organically, without chemical herbicides.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in late August and sorted. After destemming they are gently pressed to preserve the delicate aromas. The must settles statically before fermentation in stainless steel vats.
Ageing
The wine ages entirely in stainless steel tanks, followed by three months of rest in bottle. This keeps the grape's pure character and emphasises freshness, fruit and mineral quality.
Tasting profile
Fresh, delicate and lively, with a soft texture. The nose is expressive, with floral and fruity aromas and a subtle mineral note.
Serving and pairing
Suited to late spring and summer: with seafood at a light dinner, or on its own by the sea.
