Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are at a favourable altitude, with well-drained soils and a south-west exposure.
Grapes
The Sangiovese grapes are carefully selected.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand during the first week of October. Fermentation lasts 12 days in stainless-steel vats.
Ageing
The wine ages for four years in French barriques and Slavonian oak casks, followed by approximately four months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
