Vintage notes
The 2023 growing season began with below-average temperatures and heavy rainfall. Warmer conditions in July brought annual temperatures back in line with historical averages. From August into early autumn, temperatures remained well above historical averages as the grapes ripened. Dry weather, strong sunshine and hot southerly winds marked a sharp change from the spring conditions. The lack of rain helped preserve healthy grapes and allowed harvesting at the optimal time.
