Vineyard and terroir
The Aglianico is selected fruit from the producer's own vineyards. The vines are planted on hillsides with clay-limestone soils.
Vinification
Harvest is fairly early, with the first picking beginning in late September. The grapes are gently pressed and macerated briefly in the press with dry ice. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled 13–15 °C for 15 days.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees in inert vessels for 4 months.
