Storia
Late 19th century
In the late 19th century, the Cefalo family, known by the nickname "I Capitani," began their business on the fertile hills of Bosco Faiano near the town of Torre le Nocelle, in the heart of Irpinia, in the province of Avellino — an area known for growing some of Italy's finest grapes.
The family compares its history to the life of a vine: after winter pruning, it loses its former beauty, only to come alive again in spring. In much the same way, the family winery has faced hardship and loss, then found new strength to grow and create new wines.
