The grapes come from 35-year-old vines.
Vinification
Harvest takes place in early October. After gentle pressing, the must is transferred by gravity to stainless-steel tanks and fermented there for three weeks at a controlled temperature of 18 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests briefly in the same stainless-steel tanks.
Label / history
The name “Balera” recalls a dance hall that stood near the Icardi winery at the beginning of the 20th century.
