The grapes grow in calcareous soil in southwestern Italy at an altitude of 300 m. The vines are 35 years old on average.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in mid-September. The wine is produced using organic and biodynamic methods, with the aim of preserving the fruit’s natural aromas.

Label / history
Icardi was founded in 1914 and is based in Asti, between Langhe and Monferrato. Claudio Icardi began producing wine under the family name after his father had sold the estate’s grapes to other producers until the 1960s.
