Label / history
First produced from the 2000 harvest, the wine takes its name from the two “Blau” varieties in the blend. Blaufränkisch, historically known to the family as Franconia, has been grown by the Jermann family since the 1800s; its reintroduction was intended to revive a family tradition and reconnect with the family’s Central European roots. The wine was created in honour of Silvio Jermann’s youngest child, Silvia Tunina.
