Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on the high hills of Benevento, in fertile Campanian soils. The area has harsh winters, and the fruit comes from specially selected vines in an old vineyard.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand between late October and early November.
Ageing
The wine matures for 18 months in new oak barrels, followed by a further 18 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Generous, with a persistent varietal aroma and complex structure.
