Vineyard and terroir
The Sangiovese comes from hillside vineyards at Impruneta, Florence, with a south-eastern exposure and clay-shale soil.
Grapes
100% Sangiovese.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested during the first ten days of September. An external heat exchanger is used for temperature control.
Ageing
Maturation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.

Alcohol: approximately 13.00%.
Tasting profile
The product description presents a deep ruby-red colour with red tones. The bouquet is broad, complex and fruity, with red fruit, oak-derived impressions, cinnamon and vanilla. The palate is structured, supple, fleshy and ample, with elegance, persistence, a fruity aftertaste and fresh acidity.
The technical sheet instead describes a pale golden-yellow colour with green reflections; sweet fruit aromas of yellow fruit, honey and yellow flowers, accompanied by light oak and vanilla; and a soft, rich, ample palate with balanced acidity and a persistent fruity-spicy finish.
Serving and pairing
The product page recommends serving at 10–12°C with red meat, mushrooms and firm aged cheeses. The technical sheet recommends 16°C and pairing with fish-based first and main courses or white meat.
