The grapes come from hillside vineyards at Impruneta, Florence, at 200 m above sea level. The sites face south-west and have clay-shale soil.

Predominantly Sangiovese with complementary varieties.
Vinification
Harvest takes place in September. Vinification is carried out in stainless-steel tanks.

Alcohol: approximately 13.00%.
Tasting profile
Red with light garnet nuances. The bouquet is fruity and persistent. The medium-bodied palate is balanced by acidity and leads to a long, spicy finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 18–19°C. Pair with white or red meats, mushrooms and fresh cheeses.
