Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in clay and gravel soils in the Veneto hills on the eastern shore of Lake Garda.
Grapes
Corvina and Rebo are used in equal parts.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, carefully selected and gently pressed. Fermentation lasts 8–9 days at a controlled temperature of 22–24 °C.
Ageing
The wine is aged in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. It is then cold-bottled on a specialised, computer-controlled line. Before bottling the wine is chilled to kill microorganisms and filtered. The bottles are treated with hot steam and rinsed with sterilised water before the cold wine is filled.
Tasting profile
Elegant and fruit-forward, with a complex structure and a rich, well-balanced taste.
Serving and pairing
Suited to traditional Italian dishes, meat appetizers and cheeses.
