Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the commune of Marsala, Sicily, on soils rich in silt deposits.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place at 25 °C for 12 days.
Ageing
The wine ages for three months in French oak barriques, followed by approximately one month of maturation in bottle at a controlled temperature.
Label / history
The Shedar range is named after Shedar, the second-brightest star in the constellation Cassiopeia.
