Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Piedmont, at the foot of the Western Alps, which surround the region to the north and west. The climate brings hot summer sun, cold, biting autumn winds and winter fog.
Grapes
Cortese gives a pronounced refreshing character, while Chardonnay contributes elegance and finesse.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in early September, gently pressed, and fermented in stainless steel tanks at 14 °C.
Ageing
The wine is aged for 5 months in steel tanks.
