Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from selected vineyards in the Veneto region.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested as they ripen and macerated on their skins for 10–20 days. Fermentation with selected yeasts takes place at 25–28 °C, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for 4–10 months, with 70% aged in large Slavonian oak casks and 30% in small French oak barrels.
