Stories of women, threads of rebirth: Cantina MESA alongside Motivo Donna
Motivo Donna promotes women’s empowerment and economic independence through a textile workshop. Following training, participating women produce handwoven furnishings on horizontal wooden looms, turning craft skills into work, autonomy and an opportunity to rebuild their lives.
The relationship began after Motivo Donna received the Corporate Fast Track recognition within Premio 2031. The collaboration reflects the Herita Marzotto Wine Estates values of attention to people, social sustainability and positive value for communities.
Cantina Mesa subsequently served as a technical partner at awareness and fundraising events, including a lunch at Cracco in Galleria in Milan and the charity dinner “Venti per Una.” It also commissioned 100 handmade bottle carriers, individually woven and customized for Mesa. The project treats the commission as a practical contribution to a more inclusive economy and the recognition of women’s talent.
