Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown in the Veneto region.
Vinification
One portion ferments for 8–10 days, then undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless-steel tanks. The other ferments for 30 days. The two portions are blended before bottling.
Ageing
The first portion spends eight months in barriques, while the second matures in oak barrels. After blending and bottling, the wine rests for a further six months before release.
Tasting profile
The aroma is rich and gently spicy. The palate is full and lingering.
Serving and pairing
Pair with grilled meat, roast venison or cheeses.
